Social Science and Environmental Health: Case Studies of Research Collaborations
On June 27, 2023 HEI Energy hosted a webinar on Social Science and Environmental Health: Case Studies of Research Collaborations. This webinar presented three case studies of research collaborations between social scientists and environmental health scientists.
The case studies featured instructive approaches to interdisciplinary collaborations and community partnerships. Each of these case studies provided important lessons for scientists researching community exposures and health effects in any context. Speakers explained why and how they pursued their collaboration, the benefits that came from it, and their advice for achieving successful collaborations.
