HEI Energy releases interactive spatial bibliography

HEI Energy has now made available its spatial bibliography, which includes a searchable map displaying the geographical distribution of research on potential changes in environmental quality from the development of oil and gas from unconventional resources (UOGD) in the United States. Users can interact with the map and download curated lists of studies.

HEI Energy releases exposure literature survey

HEI Energy has released Communication 1, Human Exposure to Unconventional Oil and Gas Development: A Literature Survey for Research Planning. In the Communication, the HEI Energy Research Committee surveyed a wide range of evidence to summarize what we know about environmental exposures associated with unconventional oil and natural gas development in the United States and to identify needs for new, priority exposure research.

Energy Research public workshops held in July and September 2018

On July 11-12 and September 12-13, 2018, the HEI Energy Research Program held two research-planning workshops in Denver, Colorado, and Austin, Texas. Meeting attendees included HEI staff, the HEI Energy Research Committee, and a wide range of stakeholders representing local and federal government, academia, industry, and NGOs.
